The Chromecast's built-in is slow, the TV DOESN'T REPOND FAST and overall it is a poor chinese experience. If that were possible, it would make the app a bit more useful. It only allows me to mirror photos and videos. With those up/down keys, it takes hours to type one word. The keyboard is not functional on your phone, so you can't search for anything on Netflix and Google. Only thing that could be improved is the ability to turn the TV back on using the app. The remote control for the TV is sleek and small. It's great! It's smaller than the MagiConnect app by the same company. It will tell me that the WiFi isn't working if it does it two times, even though both my TV and device are connected. Is there a solution? The app forces me to exit the player screen every time I open a file or audio file.

The app doesn't have any support whatsoever.

Since the new version was released, I haven't been able to cast any on my TCL C2 and C6. The TV worked for me when it was first purchased, and then stopped working after a while. This is a serious problem and I cannot recommend the TV to anybody. This is clearly a problem, as there are no mirroring apps that work with it.

I can now cast and view videos from my smartphone and use the remote control on my on-phone to control it. However, I receive a notification that my TV is connected. It says that it can't connect or doesn't show the device as connected. T-Cast will be easier to use once the TV app is available. The steps to getting there are not obvious. It took however, going to the T-Cast App on the TV and finding the switch that would turn on screencasting. You can just buy another TV brand! This is a much simpler solution than the problematic inconsistency. They couldn't take the average rating of the last app's 3.9 so made their own. It is absurd to have two apps for the same problem. This app is absolutely ridiculous! The company has not responded to our request for information or updates regarding the "app cannot find the TV" issue. It's amazing how inconsistently broken the app is. My devices all connect to my network easily, including my windows computer, Macs and iPads. This should be an industry standard by 2020. The eero combines both 2.4g and 5g band with one SSID, so some devices are having trouble connecting. The eero mesh WiFi network is what I am experiencing the problem. It says, "Connecting to WiFi", but it doesn't work.
